Walmart Employee Put $800 on Gift Card Illegally, Police Say
The employee used the card twice and gave it to someone else to use before the store's loss prevention department caught wind of the incident.
A Walmart employee was arrested for fraudulently loading $800 onto a gift card at the store in Greendale and using the card more than once, police say.
According to the Greendale Police Department media summary, an employee first loaded $600 onto a gift card and later an additional $200 on or around July 30.
The employee, whose name, age and sex were withheld from the police media summary, used the card twice and gave it to another person to use at other area Walmart stores.
