Hi there! I'm Rebecca Omick.

I&#39;ve spent many years on school newspapers including my years on Greendale High School&#39;s award-winning Pioneer Outlook before graduating in 2005. I&#39;ve also been fortunate enough to dabble in some PR work for local bands including Groove Nation Entertainment.<br><br>I&#39;m nosey. I like to ask questions. I&#39;m the one my friends and family turn to for their news so I have to be on top of things. I&#39;m driven to always excel at any project I take on, and I&#39;m passionate about learning, and the people I love.<br><br>Speaking of people I love, I would not be where I am without the love, support and dedication of my boyfriend Kyle; parents, sisters, grandparents, cousins, and of course my wonderful friends. These people are a part of who I am today and they inspire me to no end.<br><br>My job should reflect who I am. Honesty and loyalty rank high in importance to me. My job as a supervisor at Greendale Park and Recreation has taught me to stick by these morals to get through any situation.<br><br>I&#39;m a cat-loving, chocoholic from Greendale with a desire to obtain a career in the journalistic field. Whether my path will take me down print, web-based, radio, or TV media I do not yet know; but get ready world because I&#39;ll do it all!
