  • Of the listing Tobacco Outlet Plus

    *****

These guys are admirable for their dedication to potentially unhealthy products. Not only do they specialize in tobacco and alcohol, the last time I went by the place they had a big sign in the window advertising a good deal on eggs and butter. Ask you doctor if you should consume these four products together in quantity.

Go ahead and say "the premier", especially when there's only one or two direct competitors. "One of the premier" makes it sound like you're on the bottom of the list.

  • Of the listing Walgreens

    ****

Walgreens often has some pretty good deals on simple everyday items if you shop around, though their prices are otherwise above average. I felt sorry for the employees who were sometimes required to do weird things like ask every customer if they want to buy some candy bars.

They began rolling out a track-your-spending-habits discount card this year, called a healthy balance rewards card, which ironically offers you a lot of rewards points for buying potato chips sometimes.

On several occasions the store PA system kept broadcasting a recording calling for "assistance in the shaved meat department" every few minutes, though I've never seen such a department in the pharmacy. I was the only person in the store who seemed to react to this broadcast in the slightest, making it all the more surreal.

  • Of the listing Little Caesars Pizza

    ***

This particular location of Little Caesars closed down for good more than a year ago.

  • Of the listing Mayfair Mall

    ***

Don't let the long string of police reports above fool you, Mayfair Mall has plenty of activities for law-abiding citizens, too! Even if you are a criminal, you can enjoy dining at Panera or snacking at the Buddy Squirrel before grabbing some designer clothing and making run for it.
