Suspected Toilet Valve Bandit Facing a Host of New Charges

Brookfield man, already charged with five counts of property theft, now also faces six felony counts of identity theft for claiming to represent a plumbing company when he sold stolen flushers to salvager, reports say.

A Brookfield man already charged with stealing dozens of expensive toilet valves from fast-food restaurant and institutional restrooms has also been charged with six counts of identity theft for using a plumbing company's name to fence them. Cory James Feerick, 33, of Brookfield was charged March 28 in Waukesha County with five counts of theft of property and on April 16 in Milwaukee County with six counts of felony identity theft. Each count of property theft is a Class A misdemeanor punishable by up to nine months in jail. The new identity theft charges each carry a maximum penalty of up to six years in prison. Man Stole, Pawned Father's TV and DVDs, Police Say

A 31-year-old Greendale man was charged with misdemeanor theft after allegedly stealing from his father, with whom he lived.

A 31-year-old Greendale man who allegedly stole and pawned his father's flat-screen television and about 100 DVDs has been charged with misdemeanor theft. According to the criminal complaint, the father returned from a business trip Feb. 28 to find his TV and DVDs missing from his Greendale apartment, which he shares with his son, and no signs of forced entry. Police investigating the case discovered the TV and DVDs were pawned at West Allis stores PawnAmerica and Record Head, respectively. Video surveillance and paperwork from PawnAmerica showed the 31-year-old man selling the TV, while he was also listed as the seller at Record Head, according to the complaint. Instagramming the Evidence: Greendale Man Charged with Theft

Two people are accused of stealing jewelry and electronics during a friend's party in Elm Grove – and then having a stolen laptop stolen from them, according to a criminal complaint.

A 21-year-old Greendale man and an 18-year-old Cudahy woman are accused of stealing jewelry during a friend’s party in Elm Grove and then posting Instagram pictures of them wearing the pieces. Daniel Talavera, of Greendale, and Kayissa A. Ambriz, of Cudahy, were charged Jan. 17 in Waukesha County Circuit Court with felony theft as a party to a crime. If convicted, they face up to three years in prison and $10,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: An Elm Grove woman reported she returned home from a trip to Chicago on Jan. 13 when she noticed items were missing from her room and her daughters’ rooms. Man Steals, Tries to Returns Blender Before Leaving Store, Police Say

A Cudahy man is accused of taking blender off the shelf at Kohl's then walking to a cash register and returning it.

A 28-year-old Cudahy man is accused of going into a store at Southridge Mall, taking an item off the shelf and taking it to a cash register to get a refund. Brandon Michael Holtz was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court Friday with one count of theft. If convicted, he faces up to nine months in prison and $10,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: Greendale Police officers were called to Kohl’s Department Store Wednesday after a security guard saw Holtz enter the store, take a Ninja blender off a shelf and then take it to a register in another department to get a refund. Holtz got $144 for the item and then left the store. Holtz is currently being held in Milwaukee County Jail while awaiting trial.

Gold Kiosk Employee Charged With Theft

Suspect is accused of processing fake gold purchase claims so he can fuel his gambling habit.

A 59-year-old kiosk employee at Southridge Mall is accused of stealing money from his employer to fuel his gambling habit. Donald John Napierala, of Milwaukee, was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court Saturday with one count of theft. If convicted, he faces up to nine months in prison and $10,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: On Oct. 31, Greendale police officers were called to the Gold Buyers kiosk in Southridge after Napierala resigned and told his manager he had been processing fake gold purchases. Napierala said he would inflate the price paid out to customers for gold, then pocket the extra money to pay for his gambling habit. The store has a 15-day lag between purchasing and shipping gold, so Napierala would use…

Greendale Contractor Accused of Stealing From Client

A Greendale contractor is accused of stealing jewelry while working at a home, then selling it to stores in Greenfield.

A Greendale contractor is accused of stealing nearly $7,000 in jewelry from a Town of Lisbon woman while doing work in her home. Kevin M. Dunn, 45, was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Monday with one count of theft of more than $5,000. If convicted, he faces up to three years in prison and $10,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: On Sept. 30, a woman living in the W26500 block of Indian Head Drive in Town of Lisbon contacted the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department after she discovered numerous pieces of jewelry missing from her home. Man who spent time in prison for arson at an area high school could be headed back after he's caught with a gun and with numerous stolen items in the back of his car while getting a tattoo.

A white supremacist/Neo-Nazi who spent nearly a decade in prison for committing arson at Waterford High School is facing more charges after Greendale police officers caught him carrying a gun with hundreds of dollars worth of stolen goods in his car. Shaun Everett Alexander, 27, of Genoa City, was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court Friday with one count of felon in possession of a firearm. If convicted, he faces up to 10 years in prison and $25,000 in fines. A Milwaukee Journal Sentinel paper delivery driver is facing charges after she allegedly stole credit cards and a Kindle out of a customer’s purse while dropping off her newspaper. Jocelyn D. Hill-Neeley, 55, of Greenfield, was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court Thursday with one count of unauthorized use of personal identification. If convicted, she faces up to six years in prison and $10,000 in fines. Suspect In Wallet Theft Used Credit Cards In Caledonia

Theft happened in Greenfield, but the cards got used at gas station here.

Caledonia and Greenfield police are looking for a woman they suspect was involved with the theft of a wallet in Greenfield and one of the credit cards was used in Caledonia. They released a photo of the woman to media outlets today. A wallet, which belonged to a Greendale woman, was found on top of the garbage at the Mobile gas station, 13600 Seven Mile Road at 9 p.m. Nov. 10, 2011. The owner of the wallet told police that her wallet had been stolen from her while she was at Pick’n Save, on 76th Street and Coldspring Road in Greenfield after 1:30 p.m. Caledonia Police worked with the Greenfield Police Department to identify a silver colored mini-van being at the gas station, which coincides the time that the gas was pumped on the stolen …

'Mark Stein from Corporate' Scam Suspect in Custody

Man is being held in numerous frauds pulled on chain store employees throughout the metro area.

A man accused of pulling numerous scams on area chain store outlets is in police custody, according to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office. Patch is not identifying the suspect because his case is still under review and no charges have yet been filed in this case. But Wauwatosa police and sources at the district attorney's office confirmed that the man in custody is suspected in a long string of cons. In January, reports began to come in to area police departments of a man preying on chain stores. Usually identifying himself on the phone as "Mark Stein" or sometimes "Mike Stern" and claiming to be a corporate officer, he would tell a clerk or manager that he was trying to resolve a claim against the company.
