Winter Weather Is Back Again

6 to 8 inches expected to fall in southeastern Wisconsin.

Snow started to fall heavily in Greendale just after 3 p.m. Friday as a winter storm warning went into effect. The warning will expire at midnight. By the time the storm is over, the National Weather Service predicted between 6 to 8 inches of snow will be on the ground. "This will be a wet heavy snow," according to the NWS forecast. As rush hour began, delays on the freeway system were as high as 40 minutes. The commute on southbound Interstate 94 was a bit easier, with about a three-minute increase between Layton and 7-Mile Road. Meanwhile, Fox 6 has a list of closings and cancellations.
