The Greendale High School marching band is hosting the annual Preview of Champions competition on Saturday. With 14 bands—including the GHS band—scheduled to perform, the field is ready for hours of musical and marching precision. Gates open at 4:30 p.m., with the first band stepping off at 5:45 p.m. Greendale is the final band to perform, taking the field at 9 p.m. Tickets are $7 for adults, $5 for children 12 and under. Greendale High School hosted the annual Preview of Champions marching band competition at Gavinski Stadium on Sunday. Over 2,000 spectators watched 1,800 band students perform from 11 high school bands competed at the event in four divisions. Three special exhibition performances were done by Franklin High School, the Greendale Marching Band and the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire Blugold Marching Band.
