Talented Local High School Singer to Perform at Carnegie Hall

This February, Rebecca Carvalho, a junior at Greendale High School, will perform at Carnegie Hall in New York as part of the Honors Choir alongside other talented high school musicians. According to the Honors Performance Series website, only the most talented individuals are selected to be part of the program, which includes a Honors Choir, Honors Orchestra, and Honors Band. The students spend five days in New York working with prominent conductors and sightseeing in the city, including attending a Broadway show. Then, they will perform together at Carnegie Hall in front of invited college and professional representatives.
