It hasn't been cold enough to open up the Greendale Ice Skating Rink, located in the Village Center. Organizers are determined to get it up and running this season.
Despite getting a late start this year, the organizers of the Greendale Ice Rink are determined to provide free skating to the community. There is still plenty to do with your kids as Christmas approaches.
As Christmas approaches next weekend, families are coming together, and parents are looking for ways to enjoy the holiday week with their children. While lots of holiday events have come and gone, here are a few ways you can have some family fun and prepare for the big day. First, the Greendale Parks & Recreation Department will be releasing their winter guide to activities that families can take part in next week. Parents can enjoy going through the catalog with their kids and discussing the various arts and crafts programs, as well as the fun sports programs that Greendale will be holding this season. The booklet will be distributed to Greendale residents via mail. If you don't get one, or you are not a Greendale resident, extra copies …
