Greendale Student Earns Perfect ACT Score

Kirstan Brodie is part of a tiny group of students—less than one-tenth of 1 percent of who take the ACT—who got a perfect score.

Greendale High School junior Kirstan Brodie has joined an elite group of students who attained a perfect score on the ACT test. Brodie earned the top composite score of 36, according to a district news release. Less than one-tenth of 1 percent of students who take the ACT earn a top score. Among test-takers in the high school graduating class of 2012, only 781 of more than 1.66 million students earned a composite score of 36. The ACT consists of tests in English, mathematics, reading and science. Each test is scored on a scale of 1-36, and a student's composite score is the average of the four test scores. Brodie is the daughter of Kent and Robin Brodie.

End the negative and accentuate the positive. This is the work of the high school group of teachers and principals. Somewhat the K-8 people. Not the School board other than taking orders from Hughes and Tharp while they bask in their work. Cheers,   more ›

I really hope the Pacers give him a real shot at making the team, they need a safety. Ben reminds me of Jim Leonhard former Badger who played for the Jets and was the same height and weight as Ben is. The big plus for both of them is they have a lot of heart. Good luck Ben..   more ›
