Greendale finished fourth in the Super Large Varsity division, which is a division for teams with 20 to 30 members, in Orlando Feb. 9-10.
The Greendale High School cheer team competed in the National High School Cheerleading Championship in Orlando, joining more than 450 teams at the two day event Feb. 9-10. Greendale finished fourth in the Super Large Varsity division, which is a division for teams with 20 to 30 members. Teams performed skills of stunting, tumbling, jumping, pyramids, dance and crowd-leading in a choreographed 2.5-minute routine. The Greendale girls made it through Saturday's preliminaries in seventh before elevating to fourth in the finals. In addition to competing, Greendale organized a practice for all Wisconsin teams Friday, Feb 8.
