Franklin Man Pulls Loaded Gun on Wife, Police Say

A man is accused of pointing a gun with eight rounds in the magazine at his wife during an argument where he shut off the power to their residence and refused to turn it back on.

  A 28-year-old Franklin man is accused of pointing a loaded gun at his wife when she got upset with him for turning off the power to their home. Russell Gordon Cox was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court Saturday with one count of disorderly conduct with use of a dangerous weapon. If convicted, he faces up to 90 days in jail and $1,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: On Friday, Franklin police officers were called to the couple’s home in the 6800 block of South Parkedge Circle after the woman reported her husband had pulled a gun on her. She said they had been arguing and Cox turned off the power to the residence and then refused to turn it back on. He then tried to leave, but she blocked him saying he couldn’t until …
