A 58-year-old West Allis man arrested Feb. 3 in Greendale had a blood-alcohol content of .20, according to a complaint. A 10-year-old child was in the vehicle at the time.
Authorities say a 58-year-old West Allis man charged with his fifth drunken driving offense had a 10-year-old child in the car at the time of his arrest. Greendale police pulled over Jeffrey Schweiner about 10 p.m. Feb. 3 at Loomis Road and Grange Avenue after an officer noticed his truck's registration was expired, according to a criminal complaint. Schweiner was arrested after failing field sobriety tests, and a breath test revealed a blood-alcohol content of .23. He was charged Thursday with operating while intoxicated, fifth or sixth offense, with a minor child in the vehicle. A 56-year-old West Allis man is facing felony drunk driving charges after he was caught driving through Greendale with a half full can of Mickey’s hidden under his seat. Robert J. Zylka was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court Monday with one count of fifth offense operating while intoxicated, one count of operating a motor vehicle with a prohibited alcohol concentration and one count of operating a motor vehicle after revocation of his license.
