Pajama Story Time Brings Kids to Jump in Excitement
Jennie McNaughton delights local kids with winter tales and activities
Parents and children gathered at Greendale Public Library Saturday for 'Winter Pajama Story Time,' an afternoon of classic winter tales and crafts. Kids came dressed in their PJ best with their favorite stuffed animals and gathered around youth services librarian, Jennie McNaughton. "It looks like you're all excited about the snow, well we're gonna have a snowball fight inside!" McNaughton said, throwing cotton balls in the air. The kids cheered and tossed the 'snow' around in a brief moment of chaos and delight. McNaughton taught the group sign language for wintery words like cold, snow, sleigh, snowman and hot chocolate.
