Board Expected to Create Committee on Village Center
On Tuesday, the Village Board will review Committee of the Whole's recommendation to create an ad hoc committee that will help develop a plan for the future of the Village Center.
The Greendale Board of Trustees will decide Tuesday on the structure of a committee that will assist in developing a plan for the future vitality of the Village Center. The Committee of the Whole, made up of village trustees, discussed the committee's structure Wednesday night, after an earlier discussion derailed due to disagreements between board members about Village President John Hermes' original proposal. The formation of an ad hoc committee comes after Village Center redevelopment concept plans for the municipal parking lot were presented at open houses in February and April.
