The Comedy Musical 'Bat Boy' Unveiled
Musical is a story of blood, sex and beasts.
Greendale Community Theatre’s production of Bat Boy opened at Greendale High School auditorium Friday, a two and a half hour musical tour of the strange creatures and dirty secrets of a small, aptly-named town called Hope Falls. There are two things people absolutely need to know before seeing the show. First, Bat Boy is comedy, not horror; the humor is adult in nature, exploring a darker side of sexuality and poking fun at pop culture. Second, be properly impressed: GCT put this production together in a mere ten days. Brian Bzdawka, director, still had paint on his hands from finishing up the set Friday night.
