The Reiman Foundation has pledged up to $250,000 to the Brinkman Baseball Field renovation with the condition that the Greendale School Distrcit match the amount. The school board voted on Monday to fund the $250,000. “We are grateful for the continued generosity of Roy and Bobbi Reiman to our schools,” wrote Erin Green in a memo. Roy Reiman is known as the founder of Reiman Publications and also owner of Grandhaven, LLC., which leases to most of the businesses in the Village Center. He has also been credited many times for restoring the vitality of the Village Center 15 years ago. The total cost of the project will be $750,000. The Panthers Home Run Club said they would raise $125,000 and will come to the board for the remainder later on…

The Greendale School District and supportes are contributing to the total cost of $50,000.
The Greendale Planning Commission passed a permit on Wednesday, April 11 to install lighting at Brinkman II softball field located on the easterly grounds of Greendale High School. School district supporters have been working to gather funds and donations to complete the project for the baseball field that is located at the end of Broad Street. In March the school district approved $27,500 from the Fund 80 fund balance to meet the total cost of about $50,000. A number of groups and vendors have pledged $22,500 for the project. The Nichols family has contributed a donation of $7,500 and the Greendale Panther Athletic Booster Club and Twi-Nite Baseball have also pledged another $7,500. The Greendale School District has approved funding at a March 5 meeting that will towards the completion of the lighting project on the Brinkman II Field. School District supporter have been working to gather funds and donation to complete the project for the baseball field that is located at the end of Broad Street. A number of groups and vendors have pledged $22,500 for the project.
