Woman Charged With Shoplifting $500 Worth of Merchandise

Suspect is accused of trying to make off with $500 in merchandise in a shopping bag.

A 26-year-old Milwaukee woman is accused of stealing $500 in merchandise from Boston Store. Melissa S. Fredrichs was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court Friday with one count of retail theft. If convicted, she faces up to nine months in prison and $10,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: At 3:17 p.m. Dec. 3, a security officer at Boston Store saw Fredrichs enter the store, take several items then walk into a fitting room with one shopping bag, then emerge later with two bags. Fredrichs then left the store without paying. Fredrichs tried to flee the security officer, but was apprehended. She had $498 in stolen merchandise with her, which is just $2 shy of being charged with felony retail theft.  She’s currently in …

Everyone, be jealous. I got to meet Jordin Sparks. That’s right, I got to sit next to the winner of the sixth season of American Idol. All humor aside, Jordin was one of the sweetest, most energetic people I have ever met. The 22-year-old recording artist, songwriter, and actress was a ball of energy as she sat down with me Friday in Southridge Boston Store, where she was promoting her new fragrance Ambition. Man Accused of Opening Credit Cards With Another Identity

Suspect goes to Boston Store and Macy's and opens the accounts, police say.

  A 49-year-old Chicago man is accused of using another man’s identity to open up two credit card accounts at stores within Southridge Mall. Courtney Jenkins was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court Monday with two counts of unauthorized use of personal identification. If convicted, he faces up to six years in prison and $20,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: On Oct. 24, Jenkins went into Macy’s and opened up a credit card account using the identity of a 48-year-old Mississippi man named John Coleman. He then obtained the card and used it to purchase items from the store. Jenkins then went to Boston Store and again opened up a credit card using Coleman’s identity. He then tried to use the card to buy more items at the …

Two Women Accused of Shoplifting Crystal

Suspects try to take the items from Boston Store, police say.

Two Milwaukee women are accused of trying to steal more than $500 in high-end merchandise from Boston Store. Lakisha Marceils Stinson, 24, and Sheika Shontae Stinson, 25, were charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court Monday with one count of felony retail theft. If convicted, they each face up to 1 ½ years in prison and $10,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: On Oct. 15, a Boston Store security officer saw the women enter the store, then begin to shove pieces of Waterford crystal into a shopping bag and leave the store. The two were stopped outside the store shortly after the theft. Inside the bag were four Waterford pieces valued at $75 each and a cream and sugar dispenser valued at $210. Baby Stroller Used to Steal Clothes From Boston Store

Suspect has $641 in stolen merchandise in a baby stroller when she's caught.

A 30-year-old Mukwonago woman is facing felony charges after she was caught allegedly stealing clothes from Boston Store with her sister. Sandra L Kettner was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court Tuesday with one count of felony retail theft. If convicted, she faces up to 3 ½ years in prison and $10,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: On Oct. 3, a security officer at Boston Store saw Kettner and her sister enter the store with a baby stroller, then go into the men’s department and fill up the stroller with clothing items. The two then walked through the store with the items and tried to leave, but were stopped by security officers. Southrige Boston Store Celebrates Grand Reopening

Shoppers lined up Wednesday to look at the $8.5 million renovation at Boston Store, including wider aisles, new decorating, more open space, and a completely redesigned women's shoe department.

A long line of customers waited outside of Southridge Boston Store Wednesday to kick off the grand reopening celebrating completion of an $8.5 million renovation. The new store includes wider aisles, brighter decorating, fewer dividing walls, spacious fitting rooms, cushioned chairs for shoppers and new product brands.  The woman’s shoe section is one of the biggest transformations in the store. The department went from 7,800 square feet to over 17,000 square feet and showcases many new styles and brands, including Vince Camuto, Coach, Michael Kors, Steve Madden, and Fergalicious. The festivities included live music and the first 1,000 customers received a complimentary gift. Guests were entered to win prizes including a pair of Packers …

Southridge Boston Store Celebrating Renovations with Grand Re-opening

The celebration will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony, live music, giveaways and a fashion show.

Boston Store will celebrate completion of its renovated store at Southridge Mall with a grand re-opening. The celebration will begin with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9:45 a.m. Aug. 22. Guest speakers will include Greendale Village President John Hermes and The Bon-Ton Stores Executive Vice President of Stores Steve Byers, who will kick off the festivities. The celebration will continue through Aug. 28. The store renovation began in October 2011 and has been remodeled and redesigned. The Village of Greendale approved a $3 million TIF district to help Boston Store’s $8.5 million renovation. Glee star Jenna Ushkowitz, who plays Tina Cohen-Chang on the show, will be at Southridge Boston Store to unveil her new collection by Wallflower Vintage in a runway fashion show. Ushkowitz will host the back‐to‐school fashion show on Aug. 25 starting at noon, which will feature her new Vintage Denim collection. Twelve local teens will be selected to appear in the fashion show. Young ladies between ages 12 and 19 are invited to submit a casting application for the chance to win a spot in the show’s lineup.
