Could You Be The Next Cheesehead Snooki Or Pauly D?

Hollywood wants to capture Wisconsin's deep abiding affection for the Green Bay Packers and they are going to make a reality show about cheeseheads.

Move over Jersey Shore, the "cheeseheads" are taking over reality television via TBS's new reality show called...well, Cheeseheads, according to SBNation.com. Hollywood has just figured out what we alreday knew -- that Snookie and Pauly D have nothing on us. The producers hope to capture "the hilarious subculture," which of course includes the rituals of brew, brats, and the brouhaha around extreme fandom. The producer is Jason Carbone, who who also did The Bachelor and Run's House. A pilot likely hasn't been put together. So, if you could produce this show, where would you find shining examples of Packers Nation?

Baseball Field Renovations To Begin After Graduation

Officials are pushing for the field to be ready in time for the 2014 season after renovations that include an artificial turf infield.

Renovations of the Brinkman baseball field are on track to begin after graduation, with the goal of getting the field ready in time for the 2014 season. The Greendale School Board on Monday approved a construction manager contract with CG Schmidt, which came in with a low bid of $27,500. CG Schmidt also managed the 2007 high school renovation project. Plans will be submitted to the village this week for board approval in June, Director of Building and Grounds Brian Koffarnus said. "Our engineering process is moving along," he said. Plans call for a turf infield and natural grass outfield, a new outfield fence and an orientation in the east-to-northeastern direction. I stand corrected and trust that all is well in the Greendale School District. They can win with me and do all the time. I am anonymous because I don't want the attention or thanks of others. I believe the truth comes out in the end and in fact, truth sets us all free most of all the kids who are counting on everyone in the Greendale School District to make sure their education is the best it can…   more ›
