Obituary: Greg J. Weitzer

Greg Weitzer of Greendale was 66 years old when he died Saturday.

Greg J. Weitzer, whose family owned and operated Weitzer Brothers Hardware in West Allis for many years, died March 2. The Greendale resident was 66 years old. Beloved husband and best friend of Mary Kay (nee Klasen) for 43 years. Loving dad of Michael (Colleen), Jim (Chris) and Brenda (fiance David). Proud and loving grandpa, happily known as "Crazy Grandpa Greg" to Joran, Jacob, Kya, Mariah, Zarrie, Jonah and Olivia. Brother-in-law of Michael (Mary) Klasen. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation is Thursday, March 7, from 9-10:45 a.m. at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 6060 W. Greendale Resident Kenneth Luetzow Passes Away

The owner of the former Luetzow Laundry, Jaycees member, Boy Scout volunteer and president of the Greendale Village Swim Club died Thursday. He was 87 years old.

Kenneth E. Luetzow, 87, died on Thursday.  Luetzow was owner/partner of the former Luetzow Laundry, a member of the Greendale Jaycees, a volunteer with Boy Scout Troop 505, and a former president of the Greendale Village Swim Club. He was an active volunteer with the Franklin Senior Meal Program and a US Air Force veteran serving during World War II and a member of Independence Lodge No. 80 F&AM, Tripoli Shrine and the Oriental Band. Visitation on Sunday, March 3, 2013, 12 noon-2:00 PM at Forest Home Cemetery-Landmark Chapel, 2405 W. Forest Home Avenue, Milwaukee. Funeral Service at 2:00 PM. President of Kinetic Company Was Active Community Member

Joseph Masters, 64, was president of Greendale's largest manufacturing company. He died Feb. 16.

Kinetic Company's president Joseph Masters died Feb. 16, while returning from vacation in Whistler, B.C.  Masters was president of Greendale's largest manufacturing company since 1970. The company was founded by his father in 1948. "Under his leadership it grew well beyond his father’s dreams," according to his obituary. He was a Marquette University High School’s alumni, and a a longtime member and past president of Tuckaway Country Club where he played golf and Thursday night Sheepshead games since 1966. Masters is survived by his wife, two children, two grandchildren, brother, sister and many other relatives and friends. Obituary: Roman Ciula

Roman Ciula, 89, was an usher at the Milwaukee County Stadium and a volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House.

Roman Ciula, 89, was born into Eternal Life on Friday, Jan. 25 at the age of 89. He was a beloved husband for 64 years to Jeanette and cherished father of Tom (Diane), Sue Williams, Kathy Kyler and David (Kathleen). Further survived by his 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, sister Therese Karpinski, other relatives, and friends. Roman is a retiree from Harley Davidson and an usher for the Milwaukee Brewers from 1991 to 2008. In 1994, a story in the Milwaukee Sentinel about the last game the Green Bay Packers played at Milwaukee County Stadium mentioned Ciula and that he would miss the stadium and the "occasional rowdy fan" during the winter. Camella, age 90, born to Eternal Life on Sunday December 30, 2012. She joins her husband Robert in eternity. Victor Angelo Zanotelli, age 85 formerly of Milwaukee passed away Monday evening December 10, 2012 at his home in Eau Claire under the care of Mayo Clinic Health System Home Health and Hospice. A memorial service will take place at 11 am on Friday, December 14, 2012 at the First Congregational United Church of Christ, 310 Broadway St., Eau Claire, WI 54703. The Rev. Dr. Mark X. Pirazzini will officiate. Burial will be at a later in the Forest Home Cemetery Chapel Gardens Mausoleum in Milwaukee. Longtime Greendale resident served in the ladie's auxiliary for the Greendale American Legion; volunteered for Greendale libraries.

Beane, Myrtle was taken to heaven Nov. 15, at age 96.  Long time resident of Greendale since 1943. Died at Alexia Village where she had lived for the last 17 years.  Preceded in death by husband, O.D. Beane in 1987.  Devoted mother of Al (Mary), Ohio, Carole (Terry), Milwaukee, and Phyllis (Phil), California.  Proud grandmother of Eric, Sarah, Peter, and Kristopher.  Great-grandmother of Annie and Kira.  Lovingly remembered by nieces, nephews, and extended family.  Myrtle was a registered nurse for Greendale Village’s Dr. Brown for many years, served on the Ladies’ Auxiliary for the Greendale American Legion Post #416, and volunteered for Greendale libraries.  She was a gentle, loving lady who enriched the lives of all she encountered.  …
