It is a shame that the NRA runs the GOP and too many people in this country feel that the greatestRead More right they have is the right to bear arms. I think the greatest rights I have as an American is the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Too many untrained people with guns are threatening all three of my most precious rights.

It's a shame that too many people focus on gun ownership as being a problem rather than the actualRead More problem of violence in our society. Guns are only used in around 65% of all murders--if we got rid of guns, people would just find other ways to kill. If we want to stop killings, we need to address the issues that are actually causing our society to be so violent.

Wow! A women kills a man while on drugs and while texting and only gets a year in a correctionalRead More facility? Sounds like a warning was given not a punishment! My heart goes out to this man's family. This sentence seems ridiculous and doesn't demonstrate to young people or any people for that matter about making good decisions while behind the wheel . Barely a slap on the wrist!

Greendale Citizen September 30, 2013 at 01:14 pm
WHAT?! Why would he not file a complaint? Awesome. Let's let Greendale go to hell in a hand basket.

Not positive but wouldn't it be up to the officer to cite the couple for prowling or lewd andRead More lascivious behavior. If the citizen files a complaint its simply a matter of his word against theirs. Not that I'm condoning the alleged behavior...............At least the officer was able to get them off the streets for the provable offense's.

Good job GPD, however, "told police she saw a people drinking beer" "Police questedRead More the suspects" I realize I'm off topic here but who proof reads for the Patch? Obviously not "GSD" alumni.

Considering the car drove through a red light at a busy time of day, we are all lucky that no oneRead More was killed or injured. The car was heading south on 76th and went right through Layton Ave. with no regard to the lights. I can only speculate as to the driver's state of mind.
