It says Around Town but the headline is UTAH. Utah is not near Natick!! I think everyone should notRead More open an article on Patch unless they see their town's name in the headline. So If it doesn't say Natick, then we all know it is not LOCAL to the Natick Patch. The less clicks these Patch sites get, the fewer advertisers they will get and then perhaps they will realize if we want sensational news from across the country we'd go back to Patch's former owners AOL and the HuffPost! Those here from other Patch sites - I think you should do the same only click on articles that mention your community's name. No name. No click!

I never once claimed to be source for news, but rather a regular working class person giving theirRead More honest opinion - I thought that in a free country I was still allowed to do such a thing...and the fact that I used my ACTUAL name added credibility and weight to my words (and proved I have balls) which is more than you can say for about 97% of those who posted or commented on the Patch. I would just as soon recommend Fox News or MSNBC for "unbiased" political news as a I would Bill Attewell - at least for school-related news. As always, you should get your news from multiple sources and make your own informed decision...but that would mean questioning or turning off the screaming fat heads on 620 WTMJ and Fox News.

In following Jason's lead here by going off topic (I know, doesn't make it right). Yes YOUR opinionRead More all the while still crying about names. Most people (I would hope) know how to get their news around here and it certainly is not ONLY from some small town blogs. I do agree with "multiple sources and making your own informed decision". Many of the other "unbiased" opinions, perhaps not so much. And yes, June Crawford is my name.

I would LOVE a 65 or 95 gallon cart for my recyclables...since way more than half of my (andRead More everyone's) trash is recyclable. I fill FOUR of the small recycle totes every other Friday and only half of my garbage can weekly.

Responsible municipalities concerned with saving their taxpayers money have already adopted largerRead More bins years ago. You must go through too much box wine.

74th to 68th on Edgerton is next - but it will be so worth it it since they are fixing the curbs andRead More pouring new concrete which was not done last time. The turn lanes on 74th and into Southridge at 74ths will make the traffic flow better.
Joe Boog August 12, 2013 at 07:08 am
Gentleman the section which was worked on a few years ago as in 4 years already, was Edgerton fromRead More 60th street to Loomis road. (not all the way to 76th) This was not done in conjunction with Greendale. According to Board of Public Works minutes, Edgerton east of Loomis is being designed for possible reconstruction in 2016 with help of State grants. These State grants dictate alot of how the road will be constructed.

Usually with water main breaks of this size, shmutz gets in the system. Any word on boil advisory?Read More If not, not to be a fear monger, but to be cautious for those with immunocompromised family members, boil water for food and drinks and be cautious of ice cubes currently being made in your freezer. It is typical for boil advisories to come out after the fact because the testing of the water takes a day or two.
