New Start Time for Greendale Halloween Parade This Year

Parade will start later to coincide with new Trick-or-Treat hours in the village.

The annual Halloween Parade in Greendale will start later this year than in years past.

Parade participants will line up at 2:30 p.m. at the south end of Broad street near Brinkman Field, for a parade start time of 3 p.m. The parade will take place on Sunday, October 30th, the same day as Trick-or-Treating.

The Greendale Public Celebrations Committee voted at their September 13 meeting to change the time of the parade to coincide with the new Trick-or-Treat hours in the village this year.

The Greendale Board of Trustees had , from 4-7 p.m., based on feedback from local parents. In previous years, the Halloween Parade had started at noon and trick-or-treat times in Greendale were from 1-4 p.m. 

All children dressed in costumes who participate in the parade will receive a treat when they reach the end of the parade route at
