75th Celebrations Includes Hot Air Balloons, Laser Lights, Badger Band and More

Greendale's 75th Anniversary celebrations don't start till August 2013 but this does not mean the committee has not been working hard to plan out the events.

The diamond celebration will include a five day extravaganza that includes hot air balloon rides, retro 40's cars and costumes, Badger Band, laser light show, alumni reunion, parade, fireworks and more. 

Below are some scheduled events so far.

Wednesday, 8/7/2013

Hot Air Balloon Rides, Brinkman Field
6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Retro 40's on Broad Street, Vintage Cars and Period Costumes, FDR and Eleanor, Swing Band
5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Thursday, 8/8/2013

Fifth Quarter Performance by members of the Badger Band, Gavinski Field
Featuring the Greendale Pom Pons, Cheerleaders and Vocal Ensemble

6:30 p.m.

Friday and Saturday, 8/9/2013-8/10/2013

Alumni Reunion Village
Reminisce and party with old friends 
Alumni from all 75 years of Greendale's Graduating Classes
1938 through 2013
***Greendale High School and Martin Luther alumni will meet under the Big Top located in Dale Creek Park

Sunday, 8/11/2013

75th Anniversary Village Days Parade
Marching Bands, Floats, Clowns, Vintage Cars, Horses, Special Parade Marshall
Parade starts at noon

Closing Event, Fireworks
shortly after dusk

***The Greendale Entertainment Association, Greendale Lions, American Legion, and Greendale Village Business will also be participating in Village Days 2013.
