Panthers Take on Woodland East's Best Teams Over Next Week

The Woodland Conference’s East Division’s top two football teams – Brown Deer and South Milwaukee – are the only two things standing in the way of the Greendale Panthers’ perfect regular season.

The Panthers (7-0 overall, 5-0 conference) visit Brown Deer (6-1, 4-1) at 7 p.m. Friday in a league crossover game that is considered a nonconference matchup.

The more anticipated showdown, however, is next Thursday, when the Panthers play host to undefeated South Milwaukee (7-0, 5-0) at 7 p.m. Oct. 17. The winner of that game will be considered the overall Woodland Conference champion.
