Greendale's Peter Pekar Playing in Football All-Star Game Saturday

He is one of only six Woodland Conference players participating in two high school all-star games at Titan Stadium in Oshkosh on Saturday.

Former Greendale tight end Peter Pekar, who in February accepted an invitation to walk-on at the Big 10’s Iowa this fall, will represent the Panthers one last time at the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association All-Star game on Saturday.

Pekar, playing for the south team in the “large” enrollment game, is one of only three Woodland Conference players participating in the game. The others are Whitnall wide receiver Sam Mentkowski and Pewaukee’s Jamison Cook.
