Greendale Teacher's Son Leads U.S. Soccer Team to Tourney Title

Andrija Novakovich, a star on the U.S. U17 Men's National team, is the son of a second-grade teacher at College Park Elementary School.

In a few short weeks, Muskego’s Andrija Novakovich will likely be mixing it up with some of the state’s best soccer players when the fall high school season begins.

This summer, the soon-to-be-senior Novakovich was mixing it up with some of the world’s best.

Novakovich, one of the top-ranked high school players in the country, scored a goal in a 2-0 win over the Niigata All Stars, leading the U.S. U17 Men’s National Team to a Niigata Tournament title in Japan over the weekend.
