Greendale Panthers Remain Unbeaten with Win over Pius Popes

The Greendale football team continued to roll by kicking off the Woodland Conference season with a convincing 35-7 win over Pius XI at Wisconsin Lutheran College on Friday.

Josh Ringelberg had three, first-half touchdown passes, raising his season total to 13, with 265 passing yards for the Panthers, who improved to 3-0 overall.

Two of those TD passes went to Nate Miller, scores of 69 and 10 yards, according to wissports.net.

The third TD set a school record for the longest play from scrimmage, a 99-yard TD pass to Cody Kmetz with 8 minutes, 26 seconds remaining in the first quarter.

On the ground, Jake Zywicki rushed for 159 yards on 18 carries with two touchdowns.
