Should the Packers retire Brett Favre's jersey? Team president says yes

Packer's president waiting to make sure Favre has retired for good, according to EPSN.

With football on hiatus, who is back in the news? Brett Favre, of course. This time it's the Green Bay Packers bringing up the "gunslinger." ESPN is reporting today that the team will, eventually, retire Favre's No. 4 jersey.Β 

"I think it's probably going to be a few years," Murphy told Packers fans during the team's Tailgate Tour, according to the Green Bay Press-Gazette. "We made that mistake when he first retired after the 2007 season. Ironically, we were going to retire his number and have a big ceremony at the opening game that next season against the Minnesota Vikings.
