Update: Greendale Needs to Rally to Win "Deck the House" Contest

Get your yard sign and help gather votes to win $100K for the Greendale Schools.

It's time to rally, Greendale!

There are but four days left in Patch's "Deck the House" contest, which will award $100,000 to the winning school district, for the best holiday lighting. The winner will be decided by the highest number of votes received in the online voting competition.

The Salzer home on Fielding Lane in Greendale, which won the local village lighting contest, is one of the top 24 finalists in the national contest.

There is also one other home in Wisconsin, in Caledonia, that is a finalist. As of today, that home is in 13th place in the vote total, with 470 votes.

Currently, the top vote getter is a home in Davis, California which has a total of 5,210 votes.

Greendale's entry is in 22nd place, with a total of 204 votes. 

To vote in the contest or see the standings, visit the contest website. You can vote once per day. The contest ends on January 8th. 

Free yard signs are available to help rally your Greendale friends  and neighbors. You can pick one up today at the east end of Greendale High School's circle driveway from 2-2:45pm.
