School Board Applauded the 'Educator of the Year'

On Monday night the school board commended Catherine Hulett on her accomplishments.

Greendale High School teacher Catherine Hulett received a hearty applause from the school board on Monday night in recognition of receiving educator of the year from the Greendale Chamber of Commerce.

School board president Tom Slota described Hulett, a math teacher,  as "highly creative, resourceful and technologically savvy."

Hulett's skills go outside of her geometry and pre-calculus classes. She serves as a PowerSchool teacher liason and an apple certified smart board trainer for her colleagues by providing personal and written training.

Slota pointed out that, "she is a product of our school district. " 

The Village of Greendale proclaimed  February 10, 2011 as Catherine Hulett Day in the Village in recognition of being awarded Educator of the Year from the Greendale Chamber of Commerce.
