Saying 'So Long' To School
Students from St. Alphonsus's Catholic School get ready for summer vacation.
To celebrate the end of the school year the first, second and third grade classes from in Greendale took a field trip on June 7 to Scout Lake. The 121 students plus teachers and several parent chaperones walked from the school across the Loomis Road overpass to the park.
The students took a walk around the lake to look at nature, played on the equipment at the playground, had a game of kickball and ate a picnic lunch.
The last day of school for the students at St. Alphonsus School is Thursday, June 9th.
