New Highland View Classrooms Will Be Ready By Late Summer

Time 4 Learning Charter School classes and Early Childhood Programs will move to Highland View School and the district office will move to Greendale High School.

The total cost of the project will be $999,976, which includes architectural design, all construction and renovation, as well as any furniture and equipment. Funding for the project will come from this year’s facilities budget, other unspent funds and Fund 10 fund balance.

"It is expected that the District Office will be ready for occupation by the end of June and the Highland View project completed in time for classes this fall for school’s opening," wrote Erin Green, director of business services, in a memo. "We are excited to move GSD forward and resolve long-standing space issues."

The renovation team includes Peter Scherrer Group, construction by JP Cullen, and architectural services from Eppstein Uhen. Brian Koffarnus, director of buildings and grounds, is the onsite project oversight manager for the Greendale School District.
