Maintenance Staff Recognized By School Board
Two staff members earned facilities manager certification.
The Greendale School Board presented awards to members of the Maintenance Department at last night's board meeting.
Steve Coombs of the maitenance department and Brian Koffarnus, director of buildings and grounds, were recognized for their accomplishments in attaining
Facilities Manager Certification.
Koffarnus was not at the meeting, but Coombs, who is a Greendale High School alum, was there to accept both awards. Erin Green, director of business services, said that the program was intense and took the men three years to complete.

Coombs said he learned a lot from the program and thanked the board for the opportunity.
