Interest High For Elementary Principal Position

Fifty-five people have applied for the position, which will be vacant at the end of the school year.

The Greendale School District has not had trouble getting applicants for the soon-to-be-open Highland View Elementary School principal position.

Superintendent John Tharp said 55 people have applied for the position, which becomes open at the end of this school year following the departure of Leni Dietrich.

School district administrators will be on hand at Highland View's PTO meeting at 6 p.m. Monday to hear from parents about what they are looking for in the school's next principal. They will also hold a meeting for Highland View staff.
