How Does Greendale's State Report Card Look?

Three Greendale schools showed improvement over last year and four of five exceed the state's Department of Public Instruction's expectations, according to school report cards released today.

Greendale Middle School meets expectations, according to the report, while the high school and all three elementary schools exceed them.

The high school, Canterbury and Highland View improved upon their 2011-12 scores, where as College Park and the middle school declined slightly.

The District as a whole scored a 76, which exceeds expectations after scoring above the state average in student achievement (82.4 for Greendale vs. 66.1 for state), student growth (65.7 vs. 60.6) and on-track and postsecondary readiness (92.0-84.9). Greendale, however, was below the state average of 66.8 in closing gaps with a score of 63.9.
