In early 2014, the GHS Marching Band will host an event called "BEAMING: Bartolotta's Enhancing Arts and Music In Neighboring Greendale."

With a $5,000 grant from The Bartolotta Restaurant Group as part of its “Care-A-Lotta Credit” program, the Greendale High School marching band will be ready to put on a show.

In early 2014, the GHS Marching Band will host an event called “BEAMING: Bartolotta's Enhancing Arts and Music In Neighboring Greendale.” Further details of this event, including date, time and location, will be released in the fall.

Twice per year, the group recognizes local organizations with "Care-A-Lotta Credit" to be used on a special event within one of its locations. Past winners have held a variety of events, from fundraisers to thank you events for donors.

"We are extremely thankful for the support of The Bartolotta Restaurants," Greendale Director of Bands Tom Reifenberg said in a news release. "We will work hard to put together an event that will both showcase our talented students and continue to support music education in the Greendale Schools."

The Greendale High School Marching Band is a nine-time (eight consecutive) Wisconsin School Music Association State Champion, as well as a Bands of America Grand Nationals participant for the past four years.

The Bartolotta Restaurant Group is a Milwaukee-based, family-owned developer of restaurants and catering services.
