Greendale High School Theatre presents its fall play, β€œThe Skin of Our Teeth”, a comedy by Thornton Wilder and winner of the 1943 Pulitzer Prize for drama.Β

This groundbreaking fantasy follows the extraordinary Antrobus family down through the ages from the time of "The War," surviving the deluge (beginning in Atlantic City, no less), fire, pestilence, locusts, the ice age, the pox and the double feature, a dozen subsequent wars and as many depressions. Ultimately, they are the stuff of which heroes and buffoons are made. Their survival is a vividly theatrical testament of faith in humanity.

Performances are November 15, 16 and 17 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $5 for students 18 and under with an ID and $8 for adults. Tickets will go on sale beginning Tuesday, November 13, and will be available during school lunch periods, after school until 3:30 p.m. and evenings from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. through the performance dates.
