Greendale Celebrates Education

Local residents and school staff gather for annual gala celebrating education.

The Education Foundation of Greendale held its annual Celebration of Education at Tuckaway Country Club in Franklin on June 3rd.

The event featured food, music by the Greendale High School Jazz Ensemble I, a silent auction and raffles. Awards were given to former school board president Judy Fons and the Village Club of Greendale for their contributions and support of the district's schools.

Money raised from the event will be put toward a program called the Ready Access Effort. The program will allow the district to add technology that students can use to access information, create new types of school work and projects and prepare for the next level of technological innovation in the workplace.
