Financial Information Workshop for Seniors in Greendale
A panel of financial, legal, county and elder care professionals have gathered to provide seniors and their family members with important information about estate planning, long-term care, Medicare and Medicaid.
The free “Savvy Seniors” Workshop will be held on Wednesday, October 26 from 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the in downtown Greendale.
“There are many financial, legal and care-related questions that arise in your later years,” explained Laura Wilcox, CFP®, MS. “It is so much better for everyone when planning has been done ahead of time.”

With this in mind, Wilcox has gathered a group of professionals who will help provide answers and practical suggestions to the questions and issues put forward by workshop attendees.
The panel will consist of Laura Wilcox, a Certified Financial Planner; Nancy Shue, an elder/estate planning attorney; Alice Kowalski, Milwaukee County Department of Aging; Mike Smith, a Long-Term Care funding specialist; and Amanda Buch, a funeral pre-planning and pre-funding specialist.
