Empty Bowls is about four months away and students have already started preparing for the annual tradition.

The US History classes has already made bowls in an assembly line process last week for Greendale's Empty Bowls service learning project aimed at fighting hunger in the community, according to the Greendale School District Website.

Empty Bowls has been a time-honored tradition at the high school and in the Greendale community, in which students and faculty work together to raise money to fight hunger by selling soup to community members.
