Board Approves Payments to Parent Transportation Contracts

District pays fees to parents to transport students to private schools .

On Monday night the Greendale school board approved a payment of $7,487 to parents that transport resident students to private schools.

By law public school districts are required to transport resident students to private schools that they are enrolled in. Rather than to bus groups to their private schools, the district pays eligible parents a fee to tranport their own children.

The payment is for the first semester.
