Band Bingo is Back

Community invited to come play bingo at Greendale High School marching band fundraiser.

Greendale High School will hold its third annual 'GHS Band Bingo' night on Saturday, January 21.

The event will take place in the high school cafeteria starting at 6 p.m. Partcipants are encouraged to arrive around 5:30 p.m. The event is expected to last until about 8:30 p.m., and is open to community members as well as students and their families.

The Bob Kames Foundation will bring its state-licensed Bingo Roadshow featuring two ten-game cash sessions, and participants can play as many bingo cards as they'd like for a variety of prices.

At last year's event several people split over $3000 in the progressive jackpot.  Most games pay out between $20 and $100.  Students under 18 may play as long as a parent is present in the room and at registration.

GHS Band Director Tom Reifenbergsays,"The Bob Kames Foundation really makes this a fun event - lights, music, and a lively atmosphere year.  You can play for as little as $1 per game, or you can play multiple bingo card faces - the more faces you play, the more money the band makes."

Last year the bingo night raised over $1000 for the band program.
