Free Counseling Program Offered To Greendale School District Families
Partnership between local schools and Aurora Health Care offers services to individuals or families.
A new program to promote healthy homes, minds and families is being offered by the Greendale School District and Aurora Health Care.
The Student and Family Assistance Program (SFAP) is a free service that's available to all families in the Greendale School District. Counselors will talk with individuals or families by phone or in person to help work through problems. Families can receive up to six consultations per issue.
An adult is required to call SFAP to begin consultations.

If an issue requires additional attention past the six credits, counselors can refer families to insurance-based referrals.
Typical concerns and issues are anxiety, depression, academic pressures, marital issues, stress, parenting issues, alcohol and drug issues.
