Panther Pub and Eatery in Village Center Among Top 2012 Stories

Patch will be counting down the top Greendale stories of 2012 leading up to New Year Day. Today's story is about a planned Greendale athletics-themed pub and eatery that will open in the Village Center sometime next summer.

Greendale had its fair share of news coming from Southridge Mall, Downtown Greendale and some crime. We will be counting down the top 10 most read Greendale stories of 2012 leading up to New Years Day.

Number 4:

 Greendale native Mike Drilling plans to open the Panther Pub and Eatery in the old Associated Bank location in Greendale's Village Center.

Drilling said the restaurant would be sports-themed and a source of fundraising for various Greendale non-profits, especially Greendale High School organizations.

The restaurant, which is expected to be open by next summer, will be a family establishment where parents can bring their kids, and also be inviting to a younger crowd.
