With 71% Turnout, Greendale Chooses Walker by a Landslide

High voter turnout resulted in Gov. Scott Walker winning over Greendale and the state.

As the day progressed poll workers all over Greendale had nothing but good things to say about the high number of voter turnouts.Β 

When all said and done, Gov. Scott Walker won the recall election keeping his seat. Greendale favored Walker.Β 

Greendale had a 71% voter turnout during this election with 61% (4,858 voters) voting for Walker and 38% (3,056 voters) voting for Tom Barrett.

Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch received 61% of the Greendale vote, while Mahlon Mitchell received 39%.
