Village To Sue County, Rock Sports over Construction of Bike Trails

Village officials on Tuesday authorized a lawsuit against Milwaukee County and The Rock Sports Complex over construction of bike trails as part of a Franklin redevelopment project, according to the Milwaukee Business Journal. 

At issue is whether construction on the bike trails as part of the Rock — a redevelopment project including baseball diamonds and a mountain biking course on the former Crystal Ridge ski hill — were properly permitted, the Business Journal reports. The project is primarily in Franklin, but portions of it are in Greendale.
