Village Proclaims May 12 as Annual Clean and Green Day

The Annual Clean and Green Day will be held on May 12 from 9 a.m. till 12 p.m. starting at the bridge over Dale Creek.

In continuing to uphold its name as the Garden Community the Greendale Village Board proclaimed May 12, 2012 as Annual Clean and Green Day in the Village of Greendale.

“Greendale residents understand the importance of participating in the maintenance of quality open spaces and community parks,” said Village President John Hermes as he read the proclamation at the April 17 board meeting.

The Greendale Environmental Group and the Greendale Department of Public Works continue to work together to maintain Greendale’s long-standing tradition as a garden community.

Those interested in participating in the Annual Clean and Green Day on May 12 should meet at the bridge over . The clean up will start at 9 a.m. and continue till 11 a.m.
