Too bad Jeff Stone doesn't seem too interested in debating his ACTUAL opponent, Kathy Wied Vincent as he tries to defend his position in the State Assembly. From what I understand, the Patch has hard a VERY hard time trying to get Stone or any other Republican to debate their Democratic challengers this Fall. Maybe they are afraid of a little actual competition!

Twelve years of no opponent, he probably feels entitled to his position at this point. I just wonder why nobody seems to be writing about the $30-40 thousand he raises every election. With no opponent, where does that money go? Oh yeah, to his "printing business" according to the campaign's GAB reports. Go figure.

As the person organizing the candidate forums for Patch, I just want to say that Stone and other Republicans have always been willing to attend our forums, and will be doing so Thursday night at the Greenfield Community Center. There were some scheduling conflicts, so we had to switch dates, but Rep. Jeff Stone and Sen. Mary Lazich will be there on Thursday, and have NOT been reluctant to participate in the forum.
