Property Tax Bills Mailed Today

For the first time, village residents can pay their taxes online.

Village of Greendale property tax bills are being mailed today.

The bills coincide with a new online payment system recently added to the village's website. The online payment option accepts VISA, MasterCard, AMERICAN EXPRESS, and DISCOVER at http://www.greendale.org/online-payments.htm.

Cash and check payments can also be made at Village Hall. Credit card payments are not accepted at Village Hall.

If payment is mailed it must be postmarked on or before the due dates to avoid an interest and penalty payment of 1.5% per month after Feb. 1 on the total unpaid balance of the tax bill.

The Village reminded taxpayers to enclose their bill with payment when mailed for identification purposes.
