Laser Lights Show for Village Day and More from Village Board

The Village Board will considering adding a laser show the 75th celebration, adopting an agreement for the community learning center and proclaiming a day for the marching band.

For the 75th Anniversary the Village Days celebration will be increased from a three day celebration to a five day celebration, which may include a laser light show.

The Village Board will consider approving the show for Thursday August 8 at 9:30 pm. The show would last approximately one hour. The set up would be located in front of Village Hall with the laser show being projected down Broad Street. Broad Street would need to be closed during this event.

The Public Celebrations Committee has raised the necessary funds to pay for the show.

The board will also consider:

  • Approving the Community Learning Center agreement.
  • Affirming the appointment of the new Village Attorney, John P. Macy from the firm of Arenz, Molter, Macy, Riffle & Larson, S.C., and Prosecutor, Cynthia A. Lepkowski.
  • Adopting a resolution authorizing public improvements and levying special assessments against benefited property of Broad Street Parking Lot Resurfacing.
  • Proclamating Tuesday, November 20, 2012 as Greendale High School Marching Band Day in the Village of Greendale.
